Macp?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Without context, I am assuming that you are referring to the American College of Physicians, which is a professional organization for internists.

MACP = Member of the American College of Physicians
FACP =Fellow of the American College of Physicians

The ACP has set guidelines for membership and fellowship:
http://www.acponline.org/college/membership/required.htm

Other specialities have similiar organizations (American College of Surgeons, etc).

I'm pretty sure that MACP is actually a level higher the FACP. I always though the M was for Masters. Could be wrong though.
