Made an error when submitting Certiphi

I made an error on my Certiphi background screening and wrote the wrong dates for one of my past addresses (basically i wrote current dates for a past address so it looks like I’m currently OOS when I’m not, stupid I know). I’m already classified as a resident but I’m worried that this might cause a problem. Do I need to call Certiphi or the school and tell them to change the address dates or will they be able to confirm this on their own?

I think Certiphi will correct these, but it shouldn’t have any impact on your residency status. Just check your report for errors. I just checked my report and no dates were listed for the addresses.

Oh okay, phew. Yeah I just didn’t want to report that I was living somewhere that I’m not. I wonder why they ask for dates then...

Edit: I called the company and they made a note on my application for me.
