major change?

I am currently a spanish major, but I am thinking of changing my major to nursing. it would take me an extra year, but would give me good experiance, and something to fall back on(makes my wife happy). Please give me feedback

I suppose it would all depend on your stats and experience and how anxious you are to apply (which is the case with me).
