I am compiling several LOR's and i dont know which ones to use to send into aadsas when its that time to apply.
Heres my dilemma...im waiting on 2 LORs from science professors, waiting on one from research instructor (@ umdnj), i already have a LOR from doing volunteer work (@ umdnj), and waiting on one from employer (i.e. dentist that i have been working with for approx. 2 years). When its time to apply, which ones should i use?

Is it possibe to send the LOR i receive from umd to only umd when its time to apply???

As far as I remember, you are supposed to send in 3 LORs from science instructors OR 1 committee letter. Any other letters you send should be supplemental. With that in mind, I was given advice not to send in too many letters as the AdComms don't want to read a novel about how wonderful you are. If some of the letters are coming from UMDNJ faculty, maybe they will be redundant? Maybe the faculty will give you a verbal recommendation?

Good luck.

You'll be fine with two LOR from science professors and one from a practicing dentist. If you like you can use all of them. Personally, I think that the additional LORs won't hurt a bit and serve to only broaden an adcom's view of you. I only had two science LOR in my lineup and it didn't hold me back at all. As far as submitting a special letter to UMD, just don't go through AADSAS and have that particular recommendor mail his/her letter directly to UMD. Be sure to have him/her note your SS# and your AADSAS applicant number if it's available.

thank alot everyone; Sprgrover, good idea...
