Hi guys, Im finishing up M1 and Im starting to get treally nervous about the boards. Im hoping you guys could give me some quick advice...

1. Is it normal to look at sample questions and have no freaking clue what the answer is because it scares the crap out of me when I go to the nbome website and look at their sample questions....

2. What should I do over the summer? review class notes start review books?

Any help is REALLY appreciated

yes it's normal but you have 1 year of additional material to learn. chill out my friend. you won't really be prepared until a few days before the test.

Almost 100% of the MS-1 material is rehashed in MS-2. I think it's less effective to spend time re-reading it during the summer than it would be to select the review books you're going to use during studying in the last month before Step 1, and read the corresponding sections in those books as you cover the topics during MS-2.

It's not that studying during the summer is completely worthless... but it's not very productive, and I think rehashing your MS-1 material during second year is much higher yield than it would be to study during the summer. Don't waste a lot of an otherwise relaxing time studying.
