just wondering if anyone has any good, specific, ideas on how to make money during dental school. I'm married and have 2 kids. i dont want my wife to work or do day care because i want her to focus on our own kids. I'll be too busy with school and family to get a part time job. anybody know of any good jobs i can do from home for only a few hours a week and make 10,000+ a year.

some people in my school worked at the school library for a couple of hours after school or a few hours on the weekends which was brilliant because they just sat behind the desk and studied anyway. Not many people really check books out and stuff. just a thought.

Yeah, definitely check out internet/affiliate marketing. It can be a great source of supplemental income if you know what you're doing. A good forum to get started is the Warrior Forum: http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/. (can I post this?)

Just buy lotto tickets instead of going to the casino, it's probably closer and you'll lose less!
Really though, the Texas hold'em suggestion was good, the trick is step 2. Master texas hold'em. It's very complicated, but for most smart people, who play with discipline, it can be an easy way to supplement your income.

It's like SDN, but with not as much traffic (I bet the guys behind this site make $$$ from Google Ads, just look around, the header and footer has ads). So, yeah, if you know what you are doing, at the very least, you can pull about $400 a month (you don't do anything, traffic to your site generates that income for you). As traffic increases, the more members/visitors clicking on ads on your site (some clicks are worth as much as $5 or more), the higher your $$$ will be. It may not sound much, but it will be enough to cover some expenses; cell phone bill, utility bills, your grocery shopping, etc.

True, but this also makes it harder to quit, weather you are winning or loosing. The problem is that in almost all cases, the probabilities are against you.

I agree with finding a job at the school your attending though. I mean library postion basically lets you study and if you lucky enough to get a lab position your not only making ok pocket cash but you are making yourself better as a student.
