There are a lot of forums about making extra money while in medical school. My situation is unique, however. I earned some credit hours by doing a rotation in India during the summer between my 1st and 2nd years of medical school. These hours combined with the months I already have off has allowed me to finish medical school rotations on Feb 22nd of this year. Therefore, between Feb 22nd and intern year I have very few medical school obligations. Simply put, I am getting married in June and could use a few extra dollars.
I am not officially granted my MD until graduation in May. However, given that I have finished my clinical rotations and have the skill set to receive my MD, I feel that there should be decent job opportunities out there for me that I am just unaware of. I don't want to work for minimum wage... I hope to earn at least $25/hr. I appreciate your suggestions and information on job opportuities for soon-to-be MDs that you know of. Thanks.
