Hi everyone!
As we all know that retail pharmacy is not as much clinical based...how can the retail pharmacy be changed or what should be done to make it more clinical based? please post any suggestions..

tell people they have to wait 45 minutes and give them magazines to read. that'll replicate the visit to the physicians office perfectly.👍

Cvs has mini clinic, so once they get out of there, they can fill rx in the store.

really thats nice! but there is no doctor so who gives the prescriptions?

I would suggest reading up on articles about Medication Therapy Management, Medicare Part D, as well as pharmaceutical care. That may give you something to work with. The truth is that the type of care you are envisioning is simply not economically profitable (yet). That is why you don't see it much in chain stores yet.

Nurse Practitioners
so no controls.
Just basic maintenance, therapy, and anti-infection drugs.

This would be really helpful for those vacation weekends when a kid has used up his asthma inhaler and has PRN refills at a chain that is closed. Can't transfer it, but if a Nurse was there to write a new script they could get it and maybe start to use your chain on a fairly usual basis.
