Okay, sorry for being a PW, but I have one more question for right now. Basically I'm transferring credit to a new univ so that I can start in the fall, and after that I'll have a year before my prerequisites are done, so assuming that I got in on the first shot, I'd be starting in the fall of 2014. Okay, so that means I need to apply late THIS fall, yeah? And take my GRE at least a month or so earlier to be safe? Sorry I'm so clueless about the process.

it depends on how many pre-reqs you have left, as some schools will only let you take 2 or so in the spring prior to matriculation. so if you have 8 left, and are planning on doing 4 fall 2013/4 spring 2014, you need to make sure that the schools you're looking at is okay with that.

i would recommend taking the gre as early as you can still allowing proper time to study. that way, if you dont get the score you want the first time, you have time to retake it.

I second what annopia says. I took the GRE SUPER early and took in January, but normally taking it at the end of the semester/beginning of the summer is good for your first time.

If you want to start vet school in the fall of 2014, then yes you do need to apply late fall of 2013.

I would take your GRE as soon as you have adequate time to get ready for it. The sooner the better, but yes, if your'e going to procrastinate give leeway for official score reports to come out and be sent to your schools (and allow a little extra time for glitches)

Edit: well I guess it doesn't have to be as early as possible... but my point is that you don't need to leave it til super late in case you need to retake it or have glitches in getting back/sending in scores.

Okay, I'll shoot for my first GRE in June, so that I can have multiple chances. I also will contact WSU and OSU about the prerequisite thing. Thanks guys!
