Hi guys,

I'm a junior in college who has decided to switch from pre-med to pre-pharm (yay!). The Pre-Pharm and Pharm forums have been awesome and almost all of my questions have been answered... but I'm have a hard time figuring out when to take the PCAT! Can anyone give me advice? I'd like to take it at a time that allows me to do early applications. Thanks!

Probably your best bet is to take it in June or August. Then you have some time to re-take it if necessary. Really the earliest you can turn in apps is August, but most aren't actually due until December.

and most take it the june or august the summer before they apply (i.e. June 2008 if applying class starting 2009)

awesome, thanks for the input!
