Malpractice Insurance

I was hoping that some of you could give me a better idea on how much of our salary will be going towards malpractice insurance (on the average)?

I think my dad pays about $15k a year on a salary of $450k? It doesn't seem to be a problem in anesthesia, his hospital covers it.
