Malpractice

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Usually it's because the patient doesn't want to pay your bill so they go to the lawyer and try to find some bs reason to sue you. It's true, 90% of malpractice claims result from collections! If you get sued: run, do not walk to the phone. Call your malpractice carrier. Their nasty big law firm will come down like a tsunami on the greedy bastard of a patient and they will drop the lawsuit and go cry to their mommy (with whom they probaly still live).
That's assuming you didnt' do anything wrong. If you actually somehow managed to do something bad to the poor guy and they have a good reason to sue you, then you're SOL!
