As a hobby, I like to make micro terrariums (little eco-systems in small jars, viles, flasks, empty wine bottles). It does require work with tools and fine movements to move objects around inside small bottles...Can I put this down as a manual dexterity activity when I fill out my dental school apps?

very interesting hobby. Yeah, I'd put it down if I were you, I don't see why you wouldn't. I'd be quite interested in you if I read that in your application. It can't hurt.
