Hi everyone,


Would these activities quality for manual dexterity?

bleach glass cups, wash dishes, prepared sanwiches, stocked inventory, etc..... would this count as manual dexterity or would they laugh at me?

hope you are joking. those are things everyone does...i think when they ask about manual dexterity they are talking about doing intricate things with your hands that require actual special skills

but then... now i think about it... if u are a TOTALLY PRO at those things and there is a way of proving that... then those could be listed i guess

maybe you could try adding texting while driving.

incorporates multitasking!

If you had absolutely nothing else for your manual dexterity. Otherwise I would avoid emphasizing these 😛

Maybe while your at it, you could include showering and lawn mowing 😉

Does dissecting an embryonic hypocampus count? That's working with surgical tools... correct? 😀

Would it be too much if I put down: origami

I do paper origami.. crane, flowers and stars folding (with a straw). Do those count? those come too easy to me so I am not sure if those are considered skills.

I think you'll be fine. My husband played the viola in middle and high school. He listed that on his application and discussed it in an interview. He is now in dental school 🙂

Thanks, that's good to hear. 🙂 Not that I entirely dislike those instruments, but the lessons started getting on my nerves.
