The school I'm planning to do my rotation doesn't offer insurance to visiting students.

Where can I purchase one?
Do you know how much it is?
I've been searching on the net for this, but can't seem to find the correct information.

You should be covered by your school's insurance. I have done multiple away rotations, and the issue never comes up because in the application process (for the away rotations), your school verifies your good standing, and that you are covered.

Talk to your school.

Since it appears that the OP is from Japan, it may very well be that his school does not cover medical defense in North America (not uncommon since our rates are so high here) for medical clerks.
