Marino ICU Book 3rd edition better than the original?

Has anyone who read the original ICU Book by Marino already read the new 3rd edition? I read somewhere the newer edition is longer but not really any better.

I never bought the original, although read most of it, now I'm trying to decide whether to buy the new edition or just get the original.

You might have to wait a while. 30k copy first run is sold out. Good it bad, people want it.

Hey,

I am an intern doing my MICU month, I never had a ICU rotation so I heard this book was good. I got it and read about 1/2 and think it is a great book, I highly recommend it. It might be hard to read it all during a month of ICU, but it has helped me alot.
