Murdoch takes a look at your application as a whole. They seem to put less emphasis on grades if you are a 'mature age' student (24y.o.+), have had experience in the field, and have been in school previously. They also look to your letter of intent and recommendations.
That said some of my classmates had GPAs ranging from the 3.0-3.3-ish from the states.
I don't know my exact GPA's or if Murdoch Recalculated them but here's stats from my application.
3.55 GPA in Business Admin Program at St. Leo University (still in progress)
2.97 cumulative GPA for AA degree between UF/Santa Fe Community College (including past Failing grades)
I was dismissed from UF due to poor performance (extenuating circumstances) after Fall of 2000 and left with a GPA of about 0.8X.
"Pre-Req" Grades
Bio 1 - W, then retaken A
Bio 2 - B+
Chem 1 - B+
Stats - C
I've been working in the vet field since 1996 in various positions of small animal clinics, a specialty clinic, with some (not a whole lot) volunteer work with Marine mammals/turtles, and captive breeding program for fruit bats.
Hope this helps 🙂
Also, you can check out vetstudents.net for some info on Murdoch grades, etc. The message boards are broken at the moment, but the info is still available to peruse 🙂
