after 8 rejections, I have finally received 2 interview offers. They are both on the same day though. I talked to Marymount about changing my interview day and they said that although it's possible, it will hurt my chances. I am going to go to the Stony Brook one though since that's the one I would like to go to more.
I am pretty nervous because I feel like I am in no position to turn any chances down.
The person I talked to on phone at Marymount told me that last year around 230 people were asked for interviews and 55 were accepted.
I was reading some older Stony Brook interview threads and I read that most people accepted to the interview are accepted. Is that still the case? That would be really great news because all these rejections are making me feel pretty discouraged.
Oh I still have to hear from 7 more schools. I still have to take a pre-requisite for 2 of them though and registration for the coming semester ends the the 22nd of this month. I wish they would have told me if I am in or not so I know if I should take the course for them!!!
