I just received an email from Marquette stating that my application is on "hold" and will be reviewed at subsequent meetings of the admissions committee. I thought this sounded like a rejection but the email also says that there has been acceptances and denials. Has anyone else received this email? Any info from previous cycles? I haven't been invited for an interview.

Received the same letter last year and was eventually rejected. Received the same letter this year... expecting a rejection later. Marquette typically fills their seat up in Dec.

I just received the same letter. It is my third time receiving it for three years..
This means that they reviewed your application and you are like in border line... Most likely it means you are not denied but unless you get an interview from them in Jan or later, you will prob be denied.

yeah i just got the same email as well... had received the same thing last year and was eventually denied but my DAT scores were very low compared to this cycle... hoping for a january interview or something at least :/
