I joined this forum today to post a question, but got sidetracked reading the other posts and have replied to 6 others - this is fun!
Anyway, my real reason for coming on over......
In our OR, we use GE/Marquette Solaris 9500 monitoring system with the TRAM 451 and 250.
Does anyone know of a good online resource for troubleshooting or configuring these monitors? GE (in my mind) is a horrible company that charges you $6000 to get a question answered (their technical support). I just need an online manual, or a technical forum or something like that. Any suggestions?
I need to change the window layout/configuration, but can't seem to figure out how to do it, and it may not be possible.
It suprises me that if I pay $1800 for an Apple computer, the company will stand by me and answer my questions and phone calls for up to three years - and even after that time, they do all they can online by way of FAQ's and technical documents to help you learn your way around and trouble shoot your computer. However, GE - and probably most other medical equipment sellers - charge you thousands upon thousands of dollars on their very specific and technical equipment which few know anything about (relatively speaking of course) and give no technical support online, and a call or visit costs large amounts. How come we put up with this?
