Marquette?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I am 4th year at marquette. The new school is opening this august and should be nice, especially the pre-clinic. The school is moving 2 blocks west into worse neighbourhood, but its not that bad. Marquette started interiviewing when I was a sophmore and I remember someone commenting on an applicant being not open to criticism. Believe me this is not what you want to project. Good luck if you are interviewing, if you have any questions about faculty, milwaukee, housing or whatever, I'll be happy to answer them. 😎

How is housing in the Milwaukee area?

That school really plugged how it wants minority applicants. They even went as far as offering multicultural programs within the school pamphlets. Do you see the diversity of students on campus? Also, as an aside, is the dental school on the undergrad campus, or is it in its own area?

Housing in milwaukee is ok. Most of the buildings are old I would recommend living in the abbottsford residence (Graduate appartements). Yes, Marquette is big into diversity of students. They have an office of multicultural affairs and have summer programs for minorities. The Campus is on the undergrad campus, but is moving to blocks west so it will be slightly separated. Great workout facilities are present on both 11th and 16th street. The new school will be on 18th st.
