maryland interviews?

nothing yet for me either
MD emails out the supplemental application at the same time as they send their interview invite. In other words, you get them both at the same time.
I havent received anything from Maryland yet. Im hoping sometime soon.

So getting the supplemental means an interview invitation?
according to the email that I received from Maryland today, the supplemental application does not guarantee an interview spot. It is merely another tool used by the admissions committee to judge each of the applicants.
Here is a part of the email from Maryland...
Once we have received your application, the Committee on Dental Recruitment and Admissions will review your application and you will be contacted for the next step of the admissions process.

Ahh I check my mail like 5 times a day hoping to get the e-mail from Maryland. Did someone else say that the secondary was just a few basic things to fill out? How can it change anything?

there is an optional 1 minute video you can upload of yourself if you want.
PS. I was going off my own personal experience over the past 2 years of interviews at MD. I have received their supplemental at the same time as their interview invite, unless they are doing it differently this year. I have heard some talk about a video portion - that is also new. Either way, I am very excited and praying very hard to hear from them soon. I have been waitlisted at MD 2 years in a row... I just retook my DATs... I'm really hoping that helps

From what I remember, last yr the first interview was October 3 or 1. So they will cotact you guys soon through email first with all the instructions. Hang on tight 👍

im making a video to be a contestant on "amazing race" next week so maybe i can just send them a copy of that!
nothing yet for me... I had my new DATs faxed over to them 2 weeks ago. what do you guys think? I've had 2 interviews their over the past 2 years and both years I have been placed on the waitlist unfortunately - yea, I know talk about bad luck (although better than a rejection). At least this time I retook my DATs and improved my old 17AA/17TS ... hopefully my new scores will the boost I need to get my acceptance!!!! 🙂

It was supposed to be the 1st of October, but I rescheduled it for the 15th because of exams.

Does anyone know what days of the week they interview? I'm going to have to reschedule and would like to be prepared when calling them. thanks!

They offered every other tuesday or wednesday in october i.e. oct 7th (tues), oct 15 (wed), oct 21 (tues). i was expecting the normal thursday/friday option, but i guess its kinda nice not to miss another day of friday classes

App sub May 18th, DAT completed July 14.
They e-mail you a link to the website with the secondary app.
I got the Secondary on Monday and the interview on Tuesday.

I submitted the app. in Aug 2, and received the first notice that my application was completed in Sep 2 . Then , Sep 15 got the secondary app. And this morning , Sep 16 I got interview invitation . And , my interview day is Oct 7 .
So.. I check my email like 10 times a day hoping for any interview news (Most notably Maryland) When I checked my mail after one of my classes I saw an email from UMaryland, my heart almost skipped a beat! But then I read it..........

8 hours with labs: Physics
My heart really sank... but on the other hand I am lucky because I registered for physics on the second day of school and opted not to take it this summer. So I know I am fine and I emailed them ASAP but it still stink caze I was hoping to get some info soon but this will probably hold me up for some time until it gets cleared up there.
