There is a one minute video portion on the secondary. The email says:

We are pleased to implement a new feature on our 2009 Maryland DDS Supplemental Application for Admission. This cycle you will have the option of providing a one minute video clip as part of your application. This option is completely voluntary and if you elect not to submit a video clip, it will not affect your application.

Did anyone actually do the video portion?

I didn't do the video portion of the secondary. I got an interview though, so I'm not really sure how important the video section of the secondary is to them.

Thats strange, I haven't heard from Maryland yet. Submitted AADSAS sometime in July, verified and sent on 8/11. Does it take an absurdly long time for Maryland contact you?

Question for those who did the video-- When you uploaded it, did it say upload complete or let you know it worked?
I tried to upload mine then after a few seconds it brought me to the main page. Im not sure if it worked or there may have been a problem with the file size or something.

didn't do it. i've been battling a rugged flu for a while and have no desire to talk on camera while im all stuffed up and sniffling. that'd make a GREAT impression wouldnt it?🙄
