I have an upcoming interview with Maryland and I was looking at the website and saw that 8 hours or inorganic chemistry is required. I took a 5 credit inorganic chemistry class, but I am not sure if general chemistry is considered to fulfill the other 3 hours. Since it does not mention general chemistry as a prerequisite, I would assume that it would fulfill the inorganic requirement. Anybody know for sure so I can avoid calling the school and looking foolish?
