For those of you who interviewed at Maryland and received a waitlist status or not; Do you think that because i didn't receive the status change, that I'm just off their radar, and it's only a matter of time before I get my rejection letter. I am instate BTW. Has anyone in the same position as me gotten any feedback from the admissions office? My current status is "invited for interview".

I'm in the exact same situation as you. I'm in state with a status that says invited for interview. My guess is that they expect two to three spots to open up for whenever reason and that they don't want to send out any official statuses to people until they have throughly looked through all applications. i I'm trying to be optimistic but I am definitely making plans for my next year.

I have not called admissions but even if I did, I doubt that they would not tell me anything. They would give the standard, " we are still in the process of looking at all the applications and will notify you as soon as your status has changed".
you will literally drive yourself crazy checking your status. the AADSAS website has crept into my top ten websites visited! I've stopped checking bc my guess is that they would send an e-mail before the status changes.

Im out of state. Idk whats up. I really liked the school and thought my interview went well. I may call in the next week or so. I have a feeling im rejected and they just havent gotten around to sending it or something.

Same, maybe i wasn't assertive enough, but i thought it went really well also. Plus Im instate and I thought that would have given me an edge. Well this is a very competitive cycle as Im sure next cycle will be too. I don't think I will call Im just going to wait it out. If you do call let me know what they said. Good luck pal.

Feb 24th. Great interview, but it was just too late. They even told us on that day that they were basically looking to complete their wait list, so we shouldn't get our hopes up.

I have called a few times (including yesterday) and I get the "your application is still under review" response. I wish you all the best of luck!

I called a few weeks back... they said "your application is completed, but is still under review and no decision has been made". I feel like there's no point calling to ask for the status... I am doomed🙁

im with you igo. lets not give up hope. have you been moving forward with re-applying? i will probably move home soon and start to study for the dat again. 👎 I have spoken to my advisor at drexel because the science teachers from my post bach program are gone. can you believe that. anyway, she said getting lors from them will be no problem. gotta rewrite my personal statement, which at this point i feel will be a breeze and do the transcript stuff when the application is available from aadsas 6/3. how about you what's been going on? Im still hoping for temple also!!! Maybe we will both get lucky and will hear something before then.

True, let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst👍. I am going to begin studying for the DAT again 🙁 and likely take a post-bacc program to take some more classes. I really don't feel like re-writing my personal statement again (bump). When do you plan to retake your DAT? Good luck with your LOR's! I will need to contact my professors again for the LOR ( I think at this point they pretty much have a template just for me 😛). Well, let's keep each other posted if we do hear anything... oh, and good luck with TEMPLE too!!

Waitlisted at MD, no other interviews this cycle. I'm finishing up my Masters in Biomedical Science in a couple of weeks so hopefully that will help me out with my application next cycle. I'm really NOT looking forward to DAT studying again.

Hey TerpFan, keep your hopes up, you never know Where are you doing your Masters in Biomedical Science? I am deciding b/w a post-bacc and master's, do you have any recommendations? Did you have to take the GRE? Thanks...and good luck!
