Say you have Br- with its atomic mass of 80u. How would i turn around and calculate its approx. mass to charge ratio? (should come out to 8.3x10^-7 kg/C if my textbook is correct)
I have read what my gen chem textbook has to say about this issue, but not able to find actual explanation to this concept.
Basically, I sort of know it, but don't completely understand it, anyone mind explaining the concept to me in full?
