Hi,
I know the subject of transferring hours to California has been addressed many times before, but I have a question specific to Massachusetts pharmacy interns transferring hours to California.
As far as I have read, Massachusetts has no limit on the number of hours they will transfer, but they will automatically give any registered MA intern 1500 hours upon ACPE verification of graduation.
[Beginning with 2012 graduates, the Massachusetts Board will consider graduates of ACPE colleges/schools of pharmacy to have completely satisfied the 1500 intern hour requirement. Additionally the Board will document on applicant and/or licensee records the exact hours submitted on ACPE Verification of Graduation (VOG) forms up to 1740 hours.]
My question is:
Since Massachusetts is already going to send them 1500 hours when I have them Verify my license on 17A-16, then do I still need to submit intern hours on form 17A-29?
Thanks for any help in advance! And sorry to keep bring up this topic!
