So my science GPA is too low, I'm thinking about starting MA (Biochem). If I get in, I'll start next spring semester. But the program I wan is 2 years program. Do I need to finish it before apply Dental school? I want to do do one semester, and apply ds during the summer. Is that possible? And is it ok to start but not finish if I get in to dental school? Or should I just take graduate school classes as non-degree?

If anyone knows about this or has done this, please let me know..

And does anyone know one year master program in NY?

I got a masters in medical sciences at Boston University School of Medicine. It is a two year program with a thesis but most students do it in one. When I was there I got a job at the dental school during my second year. I would have to say it helped because I got into dental school.

So it's possible to finish 2 year program in one year?

That would probably depend on the program. In the case of the MA in Med. Sci. at BUSM, yes, it is possible. This program required, I think, 36 credit hours and a thesis, which was doable in a year (including summer courses).

how about post-bacccc? I'm not sure which increases your chance more, but it's another option for you to think about. GL!

new york medical college has a masters in medical sciences or something like that...

nyu has a similar program, plus another one in oral health sciences! i think it's a year long, but i'm not entirely sure
