masters-entry nurse practitioner programs?

are there any websites that list (and possibly rank) masters-entry* nurse practitioner programs?

*By masters-entry, I mean those programs where people who have an undergraduate degree in something other than nursing go to school for about three years and emerge as a nurse practitioner or certified nurse specialist.

I can't seem to find a resource for this on the web. any help you can offer would be great (even if you can just list schools that have the program).

I would also like to know about programs like these. I am about to graduate in a non-nursing field and hate to have to back to school for 2-3 more years to get a 2nd bachelor's degree if I decide to go into nursing. Do programs exist where you can go straight to a master's program without already being a nurse?

i know of one school, case western reserve university in ohio which has a program for people with a bachelors in a non-nursing major. it is a 4 yr program equivalent to a nurse practitioner program. both M.S. and N.D. (doctor of nursing) are awarded. they also have other options. hope this helps.😉

Many nursing masters programs have bridge programs for second degree/careers nursing majors. They're usually accelerated programs for indiviudals whom don't have nursing majors but would like to gain entrance and get a combined BSN/MSN degree. These programs are offered at a number of instiutions such as the University of Michigan and many others. Note though that such programs follow a typical curicullum in that the BSN degree requires usually 15 monthes and the masters another additional 2 years depending on what type of area of interest one would have.
