Hi🙂.I am thinking of doing my residency in radiology but before that I have an opportunity to go to the UK for a masters degree. As radiologists, which course do you think is best? I am thinking of nuerorad or MPH. Any suggestion is welcome.Thank you.

Can you expound on exactly what a master's degree in neuroradiology is? This site is comprised primarily of U.S. students and physicians, and I don't think there is such a thing as a master's in neuroradiology in the U.S. At least, I have never heard of one.

I think the MPH would be of very little utility; I can't think of a single radiologist that has one. It's a nice degree to beef up your CV with only a year or two of work, but I don't think it will help you as a radiologist very much.

ok just in case you come across him...Dr Nindhi Sandhu has done excellent work in neuroradiology but if he can't 'fix it' he's an ass. i know this from personal experience. My Venous sinus on my left side is not developed and so dispite what my neurologist said about a cerebral venogram being an invasive and unnecessary procedure, Nindhi did it anyway and was highly disappointed when he didn't find anything. when i had shoulder tip pain 4hrs after the procedure mum called him and he told her i was crying wolf and needed to toughen up....this is after 12-18mths of intense headaches and migraines and just being shunned and having an opening pressure of 65.
