Heres the deal

Im planning to do 2yr Masters course and then apply for D-school

I got into 2 schools
1 with research position
1 w/o research

What do you guys think I should do?
Would research help me when applying next year?

My undergrad GPA is at a 3.52 oGPA and 3.35 sGPA. Gonna give the DAT end of this year so that I can send my application out as soon as the cycle opens next year.

What say?

I did a research based one. They always brought my research up in interviews. At UCLA both of my interviewers were researchers... and I think it helped a lot.

In the end, its what you love most.

Research all the way. I did a 2 year research based masters and at every interview they asked questions about that experience. Publications look great on your application and lot of research positions are paid. I don't regret my decision to do a research based masters, and was even offered a job which would have been great if I wasn't accepted into d-school.
