I'm too afraid to look at housing stuff. I'm afraid I'm going to jinx it. Isn't it funny how logical, rational, scientific people like myself can believe in what equates to a 5 year old idea of the "jinx?" Maybe I should stop thinking about meeting my soul mate as she may have the cooties!

I ranked all 11 places I interviewed at-- couldn't see myself being miserable at any of them-- so the fact I matched doesn't tell me much.

If anyone out there is trying to get rid of stuff, today eBay is having a fixed price listing sale - 10 cents a listing! It's only for today, so I'm using them to get rid of a lot of junk I seem to have accumulated over the last four years...

So they can print your match letter off the internet for you. No way NRMP is going to spring for that much postage. As I remember, the deans find out early on Wednesday, so they know a whole 24 hours ahead of you.

I'm hoping our hospital matches great people this year. I'm entering 3rd year of residency, and I'm in charge of the little buggers on call. I'll finally have someone else doing the scut. The third years are ultimately responsible, though, so I'm hoping for very, very competent people...especially medically.
