What does the letter we open on Match Day actually look like? If we matched to a advanced and prelim program, does it list the prelim program first, or the advanced program first? I tried doing a google search, but couldn't find any images large enough to show which gets listed first.

I know this might sound like a silly question, but I'd prefer to "build up" to the advanced match, and it'd be nice to celebrate (momentarily!) where I end up for pre-lim before moving on to the main event. It's just my personal preference on how to open my letter I guess.

Obviously if I match categorical it doesn't matter. But otherwise I'd be interested in knowing if I should block off the top of the letter and read up, or block off the bottom and read down.

Congrats to all my fellow PM&R applicants who matched today--we're going to be physiatrists 🙂

I think it's listed prelim program top and categorical bottom. Here's crossing my fingers for you bro.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was prelim first, then advanced. Good luck!

Thinking this probably varies by school but prelim first then advanced position seems most logical.
