I would like some feedback from people regard the following issue, and if it sounds like it will work:

Everyone knows that sometime on the morning of Jan 31, we will get an email stating where we have matched or if we have not matched. I would like to set up my email to forward the email from MATCH to my cell phone, so I will get the email as soon as it is sent. My questions is though, that my cell phone will only allow me to receive a limited number of characters. From those of you who have experience with this (either ortho this year, or last years match), how soon into the email does it say where you matched? What are the chances that I will get that much of the email on my phone? And at what time did you get the email (let me know what time zone you are in)?

not to sound rude or anything, but i would do everything i could to sit behind my computer and check for the email. that would be much easier.

If you want, PM me your e-mail address and I can forward the actual match e-mails to you (one where I matched, another where I didn't match) and you can calculate the characters yourself.

I live in New York, and the e-mails came by 9 am here.
