Hello. I’m looking for an advice.
I’m 30 years, US IMG, I completed internal medicine residency in Mexico this year.
Scored low in step 1 (198), step 2CK 203 (fail), retake 248, CS pass, I was still in residency during step 1 and 2 CK, I just took one NBME because I had not financial aids, anyways it is what it is, as part of my CV I have a critical care ultrasound diploma and a advanced mechanical ventilation diploma, I pass the Mexican board of internal medicine, I’m bilingual, I’m looking for a primary care residency in the US (FM or IM), what do you doctors think about my case, the last I’m not applying this year because I’m now looking for LoRs and some clinical experiencia and also want to tKe step 3 before apply, be honest and rude, I’m used to it, should I give up and go back to practice in Mexico or should I keep going...
Thank you all.
