Hi all,
I'm trying to compare the match results for different schools right now, and I'm kind of wondering about something.
I've heard that having a really high match rate is supposed to be a good indicator of a school's preparation for residencies. My question is, how do you compare the really high match rate for a school in which the majority of students match into family practice, which I've heard is relatively easier to match into, versus another school with a lower match rate, but which has more students entering specialties that are harder to get into?

Does that make sense? Basically, I'm thinking it comes down to looking beyond the match rates that the schools try to sell you on...
Am I going in the right direction with this?? 😕

Thanks for your help. 🙂
