Matching Psych with a 230ish Step 1 as a DO student?

Hey all just wondering how good is a 230 ish to match into Psych? I read the average is about a 225 but just curious since psych is gaining attraction. I don't know what others think, but appreciate any input about this. Thanks.

No one can tell you anything with simply a raw step score. Look at the match data and you can compare yourself and get statistical answers simply by searching the most recent getting into the match results.

If the average was 225 and you have a 230ish you're slightly above average. What other information could we possibly give other than that? Not being a jerk, and I get the anxiety over this, just genuinely curious.

With Psych, for most programs its more about a threshold. You've met the threshold. Now start doing other things with your life that demonstrate commitment to Psych, community, people, etc. There will always be some programs that require super high scores, but most for most, once you're average or above, they won't worry about it much.
