Hi everybody. I'm only soph, but I can't help thinking about D.A.T. I know there are many people who has done exceedingly well on their tests. As I looked at couple of posts, I understand that the destroyer does wonders. I can't help notice that Kaplan helps alot too. I have taken Kaplan S.A.T courses before and when I took it i thought it was worthless. Instructor really didn't know very much. He just taught it out of the book. So, i was wondering where can you purchase materials that KAPLAN courses use?? what exactly are they???? and feel free to recommend me any reference books that I need to look at.

You can buy the Kaplan Blue DAT book that has a lot of the material that is taught in the class plus CD with practice tests. You can also sometimes find users on these forums or on ebay who are selling the materials they received from taking the actual class including the Kaplan white book, notes, flash cards and other materials. Since you are only a sophomore you shouldn't stress too much yet. Just worry about your current college courses and make sure you get solid grades. If you learn the material now, it will making studying for the DAT that much easier.

i used the kaplan blue book and topscore, but i only had 10days to study for the test 😛

if you have the time, use achiever (much harder than the actual test) and destroyer as well. dental school admissions is only going to get tougher in the years ahead, so work hard!
