So I'm pretty solid on most of the topics on the DAT. I'm still working on PAT and I haven't started the math section. I took a glance at the DAT math destroyer and didn't know what I was looking at.

Should I just look at each solution and work from there or are there any better routes for math? I took college algebra 3 years ago.

Try doing some easier stuff in KBB etc. If not try first, do your best, check the solution. Make notes if you want and revisit the problem at a later date to see if you can do it. If you won't get disheartened or something, you can probably just jump into destroyer, but if you are someone who gets easily discouraged then find some easier things (maybe GRE math)

From what I hear, once you become comfortable with the problems in Math destroyer, you should be able to beast QR.

Since the problems in it seem so foreign to you, I'd suggest getting an SAT math prep book and maybe one of the subject test books that has trig.

Once you refresh your memory on all the Algebra, trig, stats, etc. Just work through the Math destroyer and understand the solutions.

The math tested on the DAT is basically highschool math. The problems aren't extremely difficult, its the short time limit with the many word problems that gets most people.

The Chad's videos, regular destroyer with QR, and KBB are sufficient enough to score well in QR.

I used the Math Destroyer solutions to learn my mistakes. Most people tend to score low on the math anyway and since you only need a 17 on it. I wouldnt focus too hard or spend more than enough time on it. Its a big wildcard and tends to be super easy for some and very hard for others. Just make sure you master all the problems in the Math Destroyer and you'll be golden. I wouldnt go back and relearn how to do math because that might take you more time and have less of an effect since you'll probably see majority of problems similar to the Math Destroyer. Learn the rate problems, the word problems and how to do quick shortcuts as romano shows. I wouldnt go crazy with the Geometry problems from Math Destroyer because they're a lot harder than the real ones.
