Can someone do the math for me I don't how the answer is 9/5.
(2x-1) x 2/ (x-1)= 13/2 .
2((2x-1)x2)=13(x-1). I multiplied the 2 from the denominator to the left side.
(4x-2)x4= 13x-13.
16x-16=13x-13.
16x=13x+29.
3x=29.
x=10.

I don't know what I just wrote, Help. lol

You made a mistake in multiplying by 2.

2(2x-1)/(x-1) =13/2
(4x-2)/(x-1) =13/2
Multiply both sides by 2 to get:
2(4x-2)/(x-1)=13
Multiply both sides by (x-1) to get:
2(4x-2)=13(x-1)
Foil and solve for x to get : 9/5
