If one was to compare questions 4 and 5. Questions 4 gives formula a formula to find the Area of a Square from its diagonal by first using S^2 + S^2 = D^2 . Upon finding D one then uses 2S^2 = D^2 to finally find the area of the square.
My confusion comes on Question 5 which also is asking for one to find the area of square given coordinates of its diagonal; however in this question the correct answer DOES NOT show usage of the above equation 2S^2 = D^2. The answer here appears to be derived from just S^2 = D^2 (no division over 2)

Thanks for the help!

I actually figured out my discrepancy. One gave the diagonal of the square while the other gave the coordinates of a SIDE of a square. It was a dumb mistake of mine. But thanks for your reply!
