I have a question regarding this problem, in the answers its showing the math which isnt adding up it says
.2x + 6 -.5x = 3
-3x =-30?

shouldnt it be -3x = -3?

Your forgetting the decimal.

It should be (-.3x)=(-3)
Which can then be converted to:
3x=30
