i think the best way to tackle this problem is to find your weak spots and capitalize on them, and go over whatever resources at hand. then during your timed practice run, if you find that you're stuck on a question, "pick" an answer and come back to it after you've done all your problems. i find that, this is a good strategy for a couple reasons
1) you are essentially "familiarizing" yourself with the question by quickly reading it once or twice. by skipping it and coming back to it, you might have a clearer mind (at first you may have been panicking, when really it was a simple question)
2) if you guess the question right that's awesome, if not, at least you were able to put an answer down and attempt the other questions and perhaps get the easier ones out of the way and you can now come back to the ones you had trouble with
3) these are to help you maximize your time during the real DAT
4) the easy questions can boost your confidence in a real dat situation
i know this because i have the kaplan course and they have full length tests that simulate the real DAT and i found that lingering on a question is detrimental to your time. breathe. skip. relax. move on. come back
