Hi guys,

I've been doing relatively okay to well on the other sections, but math is killing me big time. Does anyone have some advices for me to approach math and be able to score at least at 17? What resources did you use? I have been using Crack DAT Math mainly as a way to study for math. (Anyone who has a technique to calm yourself down and don't panic, please do share too lol) Thanks in advance!

PS: My test is a less than 3 weeks away.

I hope you are using crack dat math with calculator embedded with the program. My strategy for math is that I don't take much time on any question. I mark them if I am spending more than half a second. I took all 25 math exams. My scores ranged from 19-25. I retook any score less than and equal to 19. For math, practice is the key to be successful in this section. Good luck!!!

One advice I could give you is that, for many problems, there will be a couple of ways to solve the problems. Always try to figure out the quickest way to solve the problem instead of solving it with the first method that you could think of. Sometimes this requires looking at the bigger picture of the problem, memorizing useful formulas, and making good estimations. For example, square root of 893 should be estimated to square root of 900 and pick an answer that is slightly smaller than square root of 900.
