Hi guys,

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I've searched the threads and couldn't find an answer to my question. I've taken one term of Calc I and do not have time in my schedule to take Statistics I until this coming fall - the fall I'm applying.

For the med schools that require a year of college math - is it okay if my transcript shows that I am taking Stats while applying if all my other pre-med courses are finished? I'd be fine sending updates as the term continues, and am positive I wouldn't end up dropping it. I took stats in high school and did well, and also have audited the course at my college before (was taking a really heavy load that term so I didn't think I could handle it if I was taking it for credit... stupid, because I would've done really well).

Thanks so much in advance!

While the basic science prereqs really need to be done ahead of time, it's generally fine to finish other requirements during the application year. When you fill out your AMCAS application, enter them as expected future classes, and you'll be set.

Yes. You'll be fine, no one will care. You only have one left, and its a pretty easy pre-req. Don't sweat it 🙂
