A few schools require a year or a semester of calculus, but not many. Some more schools recommend a year of math, but I'd say most schools don't have a math requirement. Look in the MSAR if you want to check specific schools.

I would say "some" not "most". Most schools do require math and the specifics vary widely. One semester of calculus and one of statistics will serve you well.

hey,
i was wondering if math was a pre-req
im in my sophomore year right now, and havnt taken any math since highschool, and its not required for my major,
so is there any point in taking it?

In general the more competitive schools require a year of math ( calc and stats ) or a year of calc period.
