Am I misinformed or is this the day that we must decide which school we are going to attend if we are holding multiple offers/ multiple deposites at different schools?

I have to let all my other schools know that I will be withdrawing my acceptance offer by May 15 is that correct?

That's allopathic schools only. May 15th is just another day in the DO world.

it can help DO applicants. It can help those at TCOM, because there are 7 allopathic schools in Texas I believe and if some of the applicants with multiple offers at Texas allopathic schools and TCOM drop TCOM, that would open up a spot for someone on the WL

Really? I'd much rather be able to hold my acceptances until May 15th without having to pay multiple expensive deposits. It'd be a lot easier to make these decisions once all the information is back.

See maybe it was different for me, but all of my (DO) admission decisions were done in late Feb. so, I've had plenty of time to make a decision. My decision might have been different if I could have held all acceptances until today.
