May 15 Deadline?

I know it's way past the May 15 deadline but I just wanted to ask and confirm. Does the deadline only apply if you put a deposit down to a school? Because I was accepted to a school last December but never put a deposit down. I was then accepted to my current school towards the end of January and obviously put my deposit down. However, I never officially declined my first acceptance, I just let the deadline pass. I just wanted to confirm that that since I didn't put a deposit down on my first acceptance, I was clear on the May 15 deadline right? Thanks!

I was just wondering if my first acceptance last December would count against me since I didn't technically decline it. But then I also never put down a deposit, so I never actually held down the spot. What do you guys think? Thanks again!
