I just read that you can't hold two seats in med school after May 15th.

I have an interview with slu on May 28th. Are other candidates in this situation? If I get an acceptance in the meantime from another school, is there anything that I can do about slu? SLU is my first choice.

People don't seem to understand the May 15th thing and I don't know why. On May 15th you can hold one acceptance. People seem to get that part, but the important thing is that you are NOT required to go off any waitlists or withdraw from the admissions process at any schools who are still reviewing your file. If those schools eventually accept you and you'd prefer to go there over the school you held on May 15th, then you withdraw from the old school immediately and accept the new school's offer. Most importantly, don't freak.

converting this into a metaphor:
basically you can hold 1 card at a time, if you are given a new card, you can decide to keep the card you already have or take the new card.

and i 2nd none's statement. 🙂

I had just read that "HYPOTHETICAL" thread 10 minutes ago and had never heard of May 15 and I guess I totally read it wrong.

Thanks for the clarification. My freaking has subsided. <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" />
