Hi!

Just wondering if we have to inform places by May 14th or by the 17th since May 15th is on a Saturday this year. Does anyone know?

(I'm planning on traveling right around then to visit schools again, so the timing isn't ideal for me.)

The thing is that I don't. I am planning on visiting schools in the next two weeks when I have some time available to get more of a feel for the locations, but one of my chunks of time off is around that weekend, so it'd be awesome if the Monday was the actual date to get a better idea.

My personal opinion is that you'd be fine waiting. Cause, the thing is, is a school gonna drop you on May 17th just because you didn't re-notify them that they're the one? I doubt it. I bet you actually have some leeway on notifying schools.

Mail/email is still delivered to schools on Saturdays (even if no one is around to see it...). As long as you can prove that you met the deadline, no one can give you a hard time about it. I would just play it safe and get everything in by May 14th, but since the rules *do* say May 15th you could technically send an email on May 15th and you'd be okay.
